Microsoft Outlook Express Account Setup For Windows XP


  1. Click Start -> All Programs -> Outlook Express

  2. Click Tools -> Accounts

  3. Click on the Mail tab

  4. Click the Add button on the right and choose Mail

  5. Click Next

  6. Enter a display name in the window that appears. This name will be the name that people see when they receive e-mail from you.

  7. Enter your e-mail address username@bulkley.net

  8. Click Next

  9. In the following window, the type of Mail Server is POP3 and your INCOMING and OUTGOING mail servers are both mail.bulkley.net

  10. Click Next

  11. In the following window, the Account name is your Cybernet account, and your password is your Cybernet password

    • NOTE: If you would like Outlook Express to remember your password so that you do not need to type it in when you wish to connect, check the 'Remember password' box.
    • NOTE: If you do not wish to type your password in when you send an e-mail, uncheck the 'Log in using SPA' box

  12. Click Next

  13. Click Finish
 Congratulations! You are now ready to send and receive mail.  You must click the Send/Recv button to send or receive mail.
