Setting up E-mail for the Mac

1. Open Mac Mail
2. Go to Preferences then *Add Account*
3. From the account type drop down menu select *POP*
4. For the description enter *Cybernet*
5. Your email address will be either something*@bulkley.net*, or something*@cybernetwest.ca*
6. In the Full Name box, enter the name you would like to display on your outgoing emails
7. In the Incoming Mail server box enter *mail.bulkley.net
8. Username is the same as your email address
9. Password enter the password you have select for the account
10. Outgoing Mail Server should be set to *mail.bulkley.net*
11. Click on *Options*(or possibly *Server Settings* depending on your version)
12. Server Port should be 25
13. Use Secure Sockets Layer(SSL) should be unchecked
14. Authentication should be set to *None*
15. If you are having trouble sending out email, you can try setting Authentication to Password, and then enter the same username and password from the previous page
16. Click *OK* to close this page and then *OK* again to save your account information
