We are seeking a full-time Certified Cisco Wireless Network Expert to perform work in and around the Smithers, BC area. This self directed person is responsible for the timely installation, possible problem determination, troubleshooting, problem resolving and service activation of networking hardware in cooperation with internal and external resources.

Requirements:
Location: Smithers BC Position Type: Permanent Full-Time Salary: up to $36 per hr commensurate with qualifications, Benefits available after 3 months probationary employment
Essential Responsibilities: Installation of equipment and service for new customers Answer calls/support tickets, thereby maintaining service level Spot trends in the calls/tickets that will determine what type of issues the site is having Configuring, supporting, installing of routers, switches, servers, Access Points, vendor and commercial software. Installation and maintenance of antenna systems on towers, while maintaining an understanding of safety requirements, tower rigging, and fall arrest procedures
Requirements: The candidate should have 3+ years demonstrated IT experience Preference given to Certified Cisco Wireless Network Expert (CCWNE) or equivalent. Previous remote support experience is considered an asset. Working knowledge of personal computers and various software applications. (Standard corporate build) Advanced Networking Knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, Internet connectivity, wireless connectivity, routing, and security, etc.).
Experience with supporting/installing/configuring routers, switches, servers and access points. Working knowledge of Basic Electricity, Electronics and Transmission Demonstrated good analytical and problem solving skills Good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with customers Steel-toe safety boots and valid driver

System/ Network Technician

Cybernet is looking for a highly motivated, technically proficient individual to assist in the adminsitration of our constantly evolving network.

Requirements:
CCENT/ CCNA (in progress or equivalent acceptable)
2-3 years experience in the following areas:
Cisco IOS, Cisco 7200, 3700 and 2600 routers
Hands on troubleshooting of Cisco Routers/ Switches, 3Com, Dell
Power Connect, TCP/ IP networking and Ethernet technologies
Multi-Homed Internet Gateways
Configuration of Network Firewalls
Routing protocols: BGP; OSPF
Switching technology: LAN based QOS, Configuration management, Layer 2/3 architecture

Wireless Systems Installer

Looking for a self directed person to do installation of internet connections to customer premises, to troubleshoot and do customer service.

Requirements:
Must be prepared to work outdoors in all seasons
Must be able to perform some tower work at high heights
Avid interest in computer technology
Data/Telephone troubleshooting and repair experience an asset
Must have a valid driver\'s licence
