Microsoft Outlook : Not Sending and/or Receiving Mail


  1. Click Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft Office -> Microsoft Office Outlook

  2. Click Tools -> E-mail Accounts

  3. Click the radio button beside 'View or change existing accounts'

  4. Click Next

  5. Click on the account you want to edit and click the 'Change...' button on the right

  6. Confirm that the Incoming mail server (POP3) is 'mail.bulkley.net'

  7. Confirm that the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) is 'mail.bulkley.net'

  8. E-mail Address is your Cybernet e-mail address, username@bulkley.net

  9. Under Logon Information, Username is your Cybernet username, and password is your Cybernet password

  10. Check 'Remember password' to avoid typing the password in every time you log in.

  11. 'Log on using SPA' should be unchecked

  12. Click Next

  13. Click Finish

 If any of these settings are incorrect, please correct them, click  OK, then Close the other window, and click the Send/Receive  button again. If you are not sure if you have mail, send yourself  an e-mail by clicking 'Create Mail.' If you are still unable to send  or receive mail, call us at Cybernet and we will assist you.
