Cybernet Owner & Operations Manager
A certified radio technician, heavy duty auto mechanic, aircraft pilot, and former high school teacher, Carrol brings a wealth of experience to Cybernet, combined with a lifelong interest in technology. Upon seeing the rapid expansion of communications technology in the early 2000s, Carrol's entrepreneurial nature and passion for business led him to establish the very first wireless Internet service provider in the Bulkley Valley. Nowadays, he can often be seen doing installations for new customers across the region.
Cybernet Owner & Office Manager
Linda has been Cybernet’s Office Manager since 1995, ensuring smooth business operations and providing helpful service to our customers. Prior to 1995, Linda’s passion for business served her well as owner-operator of a busy expediting company. Before acquiring Cybernet, Linda had little experience with information technology; thus, she draws on her own learning experience to translate complicated technical jargon into plain language for our customers.
Webmaster and Senior Technician
Norm has been with Cybernet since 1999, and played a vital part in bringing high-speed wireless service to the northwest. Norm has worked in all parts of the system, from backbone setup to customer installations, enabling him to quickly identify and troubleshoot system issues. Norm plays an integral role at Cybernet, where he keeps our high-speed service network running smoothly and uses his expertise to develop proactive technical solutions for customers.
Dawn has worked with Cybernet as our Bookeeper since 2010. She always has a smile on her face and takes pride in contributing to smooth business operations by ensuring the bills and employees are paid on time. When Dawn is at home she enjoys growing air plants succulents and relaxing with her four cats.
Kathy has joined the team in February 2013 and comes to us after working in the retail industry for the past five years. She has received her certificate in business technology which benefits her in the position as the office receptionist. Kathy enjoys gardening, reading and scrapbooking in her days at home.
Jeanne joined the Cybernet staff in December 2013. Jeanne brings 23 years of administratve and computer experience working in the Provincial government. She received her Administrative Secretary Certificate from NWCC in 1990. When Jeanne is not working, she can be found on her hobby farm enjoying all of her animals or fishing with her dog.
